We've had this bed for about 6 months now and it's held up nicely. The shipping was on time, instructions were precise and easily followed.. I did put this together with my husband and I do recommend having another person to help you assemble. The only thing bothersome about this bunk bed is that the screws connecting the top bunk keep loosening. Specifically the screws holding the ladder and the sides of the bed rails need tightening every few weeks or so.
22 parts missing (upper slats that hole the top mattress in place), and two vital pieces damaged (the bottom guard rails). Customer service told me it will be a few months before I see replacements.
Packaged well, easy to assemble. Directions were easy to follow. Took about 2 hours to assemble. HINT-if you have a screwdriver with changeable bits, use instead of the small allen wrench they send with. Really speeds things up and you can get the bolts tight. Pay attention to the pictures for the first 3 steps to make sure you have all the holes facing in the correct direction. When fully assembled the unit is very steady. 1 plastic retaining clip broke when installing, but they send extras so it was not a problem. I would recommend this bed for anyone who needs more than a single bed.
The idea is great for my autistic son who sleeps much better on a couch…. BUT I’ve folded it down only once to put a sheet on the bed for the first time (I’ve only had it put together for 2 days) and the spring pieces that adjust the futon already gets stuck and you have to take the mattress off and fight with the springs for 10 mins to get it to adjust…..so disappointed I so loved this bed

Pretty easy to put together but you might need help moving the delivery box . Easy to follow instructions and no tools required.

Overall a good purchase
I bought this bed for my grandkids ages 3-7. It works well but you want to be sure you don’t put a mattress thicker than 6 on the top bunk.
