Understandable that freight doesnt come in a perfect box. But on both ends it was ripped and put back together with shrink wrap. As well as missing bolts and nuts. Not very happy, I had to replace 24 in total.
Bought the bunk bed for my 2 girls. Ages 7 and 2. Overall it was easy to put together. The slats however, do not fit. I cant even put the slats on the bottom level because they dont fit. The slats on the top barely fit and we could only put a few screws in it. The slats on top bend when my oldest gets on the bed. It makes me a bit nervous that they will break. Some pieces did come warped as well. No bad smell to the bed though, and the color is fine. Just a bit nervous about the slats breaking.
We followed the clear step/by/step directions with no problem. Bed is really quite sturdy when fully assembled.
Although the descriptions stated no bunkie board needed, I will get one for the top bunk.

Opened em up took a good look no marks and no broken pieces . Read all the instructions and checked for all parts and screws. I put it together alone in under 3 hours including a trundle bed. Im a happy Grandma and ready for the kids to come spend some much needed time
This bed took 2 adults 4 1/2hrs to put together! So many pieces and screws. The assemble directions were helpful yet NOT. Anyone buying this bed PUT the ladder on BEFORE YOU SCREW the mattress boards on. The directions make you put together BOTH beds them lifting the top on over the bottom one, problem was once this was all put together the ladder was the last step. It was NOT easy screwing the ladder on because the directions made you put the mattress boards on first and screw then down. The screws are all Allen wrench type which sucked! Took forever to screw this together. BUT once it was all said and done it is a very nice sturdy bed!

90 of product came out manufactured damaged!!!!
Do not buy this product !!!! Majority of the items came damaged. I am extremely disappointed of the product I received. A waste of money and time !!!

Slats are not made very well.

Extremely difficult to assemble. Several defective pieces. Not worth the money.
