Have had back problems for years, including several lumbar fusions. This chair is nice and firm so I dont feel like Im sinking and not able to stand. Its sturdy and was easily put together. Im happy with my purchase!
This is a lovely mid century piece. On the smaller side but that is what I was looking for. The wood feet look like wood not cheap. All in all for the price it looks much more expensive. Very light linen color. I bought a different ottoman that was round with button tifting which makes it a terrific recliner for a smaller person like myself. 57 and 108 lbs. Its cozy! And easy to assemble.
Our chairs arrived and super easy to assemble. The color is light taupe. Sturdy. Nice oversized seat area. We have looked for quite awhile before deciding on these. Very happy with our purchase. They are accent chairs so dont expect an endless sitting chair. Read a book, sit and visit..they are perfect for that !!!
Its a stiff chair, but its great for reading or just having company to sit and chat! Fabric is soft. Its beautiful and was the perfect size for my space!
This chair has surpassed my expectations. It was incredibly easy to put together. It is a nice looking chair and it is very comfortable. I am a psychologist so I literally sit in it for hours upon hours/day and it provides great support while not being too stiff. I think if you are looking for a simple, functional and inexpensive accent chair, this will fit the bill.
I was worried how this color would look against white walls and it works nicely.
I ordered this chair during Prime Days. It was a good buy and had some excellent reviews. I needed to replace a very old and comfortable chair because I felt it wasnt giving my back enough support as my primary sitting place. So I was looking for something firm rather that soft and squishy.
Good points: It arrived ahead of schedule. It was well/packed and appeared clean and new. There were good directions that were easy to understand. It is firm. Some people might find that uncomfortable if they were expecting something they could sink into but I see it as a plus. It promotes good posture and I think I will like its firmness.
Not so good points: I expect things to take me a bit longer than average to assemble because I am a small, older woman approaching the task by myself. The instructions were simple to understand but not necessarily to carry out. The back piece didnt slide into the guards correctly the first time and I had considerable difficulty getting it off again so that I could line it up better. (Take that as a warning: get it right the first time!) Once in place, it looked like it was all the way in but there was no satisfying click to reassure me (this is important for a reason). There is a bolt that one is supposed to screw in to the bottom piece from the underside of the chair, connecting the bottom to the back piece. The hole for the bolt didnt quite line up so that I could get the bolt straight in. This left me wondering whether the back piece was supposed to slide down just a bit further or whether it wasnt machined with optimal accuracy. After trying numerous things to get the back to slide down a bit more, I realized it simply wasnt going to happen. So how important is this bolt? It looked important so I charged up my Dremel to shave off just a little more wood so that the bolt could hit the hole straight (perpendicular). I was successful in this and the bolt screwed into the hole but not very far. I have to be satisfied with this. The screw at least engaged and it doesnt show that it doesnt go down all the way, so Im trusting that it will hold up. I was also a bit disappointed in the color though I cannot say it was misrepresented. Beige is a range of colors generally composed of a mixture of light gray, yellow and brown. I would say this beige was heavy on the light grey. Hence, it is not the greatest match with my pale yellow walls but itll do. The chair also smells a bit but I just unpacked it today so hopefully that will fade as most new smells do.
I gave it 4 stars because overall I think the chair will meet my needs and was accurately described by the seller. I took away one star, however, because of the hassles with the assembly. (Ive assembled much more complicated things with less annoyance.)
The chair looks beautiful but its not easy at all to get on the back without tugging at the material or ripping it with the sharp metal connectors. Its too wide to fit between the arms. I think this is going back to sender!

Beautiful mid century modern for the price

Classy looking and comfy.
I bought it for my bedroom, but it is classy enough for a living room. Nice quality material and comfortable.
Scared to buy online without seeing but I like them!
I like them overall. They dont get much use so I dont know how they would hold up over time.
