I bought this so that I could have an articulating bed post surgery. So happy that I have it! It has made me much more comfortable, works great, operates completely silently, and because my mattress had originally come rolled up, I figured that it would probably work with this bedframe. And that was the case! Did not have to buy a new mattress!
