Bough this for a 10 year old Tempurpedic King sized bed. I used the link cable to make the split king setup work as one unit and so far so good. We might upgrade to a split king mattress soon, but in the mean time we are happy using this with our current mattress.
Not using the usb ports but found the under bed lighting to be very useful as a way not to trip when going to bed after the other person is asleep.
We like it so far and are happy with the purchase
