A bit bigger than I thought it would be, but then again I never pay attention to measurements . The fabric is very soft, microfiber I think. Glides very nicely. Plenty of seat room, I expected it to be smaller. Very nice chair. It looks like a regular living room chair, which is a huge plus as thats where its staying! I think traditional gliders are super ugly and not useable as a living room chair. Cant wait to use it with my baby
