The fabric is soft to the touch (yet spot cleans easily), and the chair is very comfortable. It also appears to be well built. It both rocks swivels, so those of us who dont like to sit still are happy. And its on the small side, so doesnt take up too much space in a smaller room. While Im sure it would be lovely for new moms babies, (the high sides offer arm support for nursing), its also great for extra seating in a family room. After I got the first one, I ordered a second.
