We got this chair for our sons nursery because it was so small and was almost identical to a chair we already owned and loved. However, it is not a good chair for a nursery for many reasons. 1. The back is too low / I spent so much time in this chair nursing, but could never get comfortable because you cant lean your head back. 2. It is too tall. I am 54 / not short but not tall / and my feet barely touch the floor when I sit all the way back. It makes it very uncomfortable to nurse or even just read to me son. 3. Too narrow. My son is now almost two and we are no longer nursing, but my husband or I still sit with him in the chair every night to read his bedtime stories. The only way to do that is with him on our lap, which was fine until I got pregnant again. An extra two inches on the side would give this chair a much longer life. Overall / while it looks nice, I would not recommend this chair to mothers/parents who plan on breastfeeding or using this chair long term in a childs bedroom.
