Assembly instructions are very poor. I had to hire a handyman at $40.00/chair to finally assemble it correctly ( I'm not that handy). Once assembled they are nice and sturdy. If you are not handy consider hiring someone who is and save yourself stress and get a better result. Otherwise it is a good chair.
